| 나의 기도 | I pray that I bolster my communication with God. There are couple of things immediately needing some disciplinary help. For one, I pray for someone or some ways that will keep me checked in reading and studying the bible. For two, I pray to revitalize family QT, where as a family we share the word of God each day. |
| 적용하기 | On the surface my situation and my family's challenge are like barely hanging on to debris after a severe wreckage. But there"s a plenty of thanks to be made. I must look to Jesus who saves my soul and my earthly stay, and heed to His directions. In order to have family QT, I need to come up with rigid schedule and plan regarding work. I need to sacrifice some sleep time, in order to free up more time and availbility for my family. It's only after my family gets stronger in His word, that I can be in His presence beyond my home passing onto work borders. |
At a flick of Almighty God's finger tip, Paul and 275 others participate in an unforgettable experience in the sea of Southern Italy. The experience resembles how the U.S. and global economy are currently hit with a battering storm in financial and subsequent social aspects. Nonethless, not many of us will end up dying because of the current economic downturn. Some of us may feel like we are hanging onto a small piece of a wrecked system, just holding on...to continue breathing and staying afloat until hopeuflly God provides us some ground to stand on.
Through many days and weeks of death breathing down Paul's neck, his calm toward the life-threatening event and his gratitude toward God's providence shine a ray of hope and an inevitable will to obey God the Creator of all, upon all those around him. That hope and obedience were forced into each individual's heart and mind--both solders and prisoners. The only possibility to such an witnessing event is credited to Paul's reaching out to God's will and listening to His expressions of His presence and ownership of the course of the event.
Only He decides and/or allows who dies and lives. It's not for us to walk into His territory of ultimage contorl of life. Our lives' humble purpose is to walk in His presence, wheather in storm or morning calm, by heeding to His will, penned in His word, spoken through the Holy Spirit.

In the end He saves, and that is His will. Praise the Lord.
